Parties at WOW! are a great way to spend time with friends in a safe, formative, fun,and educational environment. For details about each party package WOW! offers, please click on the tabs at the top of this panel.

  • Reservations: Parties must be booked 48 hours in advance. Private parties must be booked 2 weeks in advance. Party package deposit is due at time of reservation. If you think you may have a large group or just need extra time to gather everyone together at the end of the party, we recommend you reserve a time other than the last two-hour time slot. We need to close promptly, as we often have private parties after hours for which we need to prepare.
  • Indoor/Outdoor Option: During the Spring and Summer you can request a party room with indoor/outdoor access for an additional $10 - call early, it books quickly! Our private party option includes the indoor/outdoor area at no additional cost.
  • Invitations: WOW! invitations include written directions to the Museum as well as envelopes. Invitations are available for purchase at the Museum for 35 cents each--buy only what you need!
  • Adult Supervision: Adults are free at the Museum! Please note that adults attending the party are required to actively supervise party children when they are in the Museum. WOW! Children's Museum requires that there's 1 adult supervisor for every 5 party children.
  • Additional Party Room: If you think you may have more than 5 adults, we recommend you reserve an adjoining room for only $15 (for parties of 8-12 children), since your party room and cost is determined based on the number of children attending the party. This will ensure the adults attending will have enough space in your room.

The Museum cannot accommodate birthday parties in our snack areas. Please select the appropriate package for your party. We look forward to answering your questions and assisting you with your party needs.


Our basic party package is available during business hours.

Basic Party includes:

  • 2 hour museum admission for all party attendees (minimum of 8 children)
  • 1 hour in a decorated party room, starts 30 minutes after party time
  • Paper supplies for party children (plates, cups, napkins, forks)
  • Balloon bouquet and a crown for the birthday child
  • Cost: $11.50/child for 8-11 children; $11.00/child for 12-15 children; $10.50/child for 16-25 children. $30 deposit is required at time of reservation. On the day of your party, the deposit is deducted from the cost of your party on the final bill.


Our deluxe party package is available during business hours. It includes:

  • 2 hour admission for your party guests (minimum of 8 children)
  • 1 hour in a decorated party room, starts 30 minutes after party time
  • Everything in the Basic Party package plus:
  • Birthday cake
  • Beverages (Choice of Apple, Sunny Delight, or Lemonade)
  • One Museum party gift per child.
  • Cost: $15.00/child for 8-11 children; $14.50/child for 12-15 children; $14.00/child for 16-25 children. $30 deposit is required at time of reservation. On the day of your party, the deposit is deducted from the cost of your party on the final bill.


Our theme party package is available during business hours. Our current theme choices are Dinosaur, Pirate, Once Upon a Time, Bugs, or Trains. The theme package includes:

  • 2 hour admission for your party guests (minimum of 8 children)
  • 1 hour in a decorated party room, starts 30 minutes after party time
  • Everything in Basic Party package plus:
  • Birthday cake
  • Beverages (Choice of Apple, Sunny Delight, or Lemonade)
  • Theme appropriate Museum party gifts, crafts and one museum staff person to oversee in-room craft activities during first 15 min. of room time
  • Cost: $16.50/child for 8-11 children; $16.00/child for 12-15 children; $15.50/child for 16-25 children. $30 deposit is required at time of reservation. On the day of your party, the deposit is deducted from the cost of your party on the final bill.


Our SUPER DUPER party package options:

  • Basic Private Party:
    • Exclusive 2 hour admission for all party attendees on a Sunday from 4:30 pm-6:30pm OR on a Friday from 6:30pm- 8:30pm.
    • 2 WOW! staff members to facilitate all party activities
    • Minimum of 15 children. All children attending the Museum during your private party time are counted if they are 15 months - 11 years.
    • Package includes: balloon bouquet, birthday crown for birthday child, paper ware for all children and paper ware for up to 15 adults (including party parents). For more than 15 adults, there will be a $2.00 additional charge to provide paper ware for every additional adult. This assessment is necessary due to additional paper ware supply costs. This fee will be waived if you choose to bring your own paper ware for adult guests.
    • Special Activity: Face painting done by museum staff
    • Access to the indoor/outdoor party room during the spring and summer months.
    • WOW! Pirate Bear,T-Shirt or Cap for birthday child and 1 free return admission coupon
    • $1 off coupons for guests
    • Cost: $15.00/child (15 child minimum). $50 deposit is required at time of reservation. On the day of your party, the deposit is deducted from the cost of your party on the final bill.
  • Deluxe Private Party:
    • Exclusive 2 hour admission for all party attendees on a Sunday from 4:30 pm-6:30pm OR on a Friday from 6:30pm- 8:30pm.
    • 2 WOW! staff members to facilitate all party activities
    • Minimum of 15 children. All children attending the Museum during your private party time are counted if they are 15 months - 11 years.
    • Package includes: balloon bouquet, birthday crown for birthday child, birthday cake, pitchers of juice, Museum party gifts for all party children, paper ware for all children and paper ware for up to 15 adults (including party parents). For more than 15 adults, there will be a $2.00 additional charge to provide paper ware for every additional adult. This assessment is necessary due to additional paper ware supply costs. This fee will be waived if you choose to bring your own paper ware for adult guests.
    • Special Activities: Face painting plus the choice of craft activity or scavenger hunt
    • Access to the indoor/outdoor party room during the spring and summer months.
    • WOW! Pirate Bear,T-Shirt or Cap for birthday child and 1 free return admission coupon
    • $1 off coupons for guests
    • Cost: $18.00/child (15 child minimum). $50 deposit is required at time of reservation. On the day of your party, the deposit is deducted from the cost of your party on the final bill.
  • Please Note:
    • The Museum opens promptly for scheduled private parties on Fridays at 6:30pm and Sundays at 4:30pm. Early admittance is not permitted as Museum staff is cleaning, preparing and setting up for your private party.

Parties of 7 children or less:

If you have a small party (with less than 8 kids), you can still rent a WOW! party room for $30. Room Rentals are conducted under the same procedures and times as WOW! party packages, however, supplies are not included.

  • Room Rental Fee: $30.00 (paid at time of reservation).
  • Cost for all party attendees: $7.00 per child (standard Museum admission). Paid at the conclusion of your party.
  • Room Rental maximum is 7 party children. If the number increases to 8 children or more, please contact WOW! to upgrade to a WOW! party package.

Prices and conditions subject to change. 10% DISCOUNTS are available to Museum members. The number of children in a party will determine party room assignment. For parties of 8-12 children, an adjoining room to accommodate extra adults can be provided for an additional $15.

HUNGRY? The Museum staff is happy to order pizza for your party guests. Costs vary according to pizza size and number of toppings. Pizza not available for 10:00am parties.
