Music Class Descriptions

These Shoes Are Made for Walkin’ (and Dancing Too!) Walkers up to 23 months

At this age children like to move A LOT! They are learning new physical skills and also beginning to observe, interact and explore new environments in which they feel comfortable. In this nurturing, movement-filled class for new walkers, children enjoy singing, dancing, playing simple instruments, listening, exploring, and interacting socially with one another. Come see, feel, listen, and play with us. We love to share!

Threes and Fours, Let's Move Some More (3-4 years old)

Preschool Age children enjoy socializing, playing and interacting creatively together. In this joyful movement-filled class, children have plenty of opportunity to dance, sing, explore instruments and play, play, play! Literacy and language skills are also fostered through singing and other types of vocal play. This class continues to build on the musical elements of pitch, tempo and dynamics of loud and soft. Come learn, sing and play music.

Cost
$8.50 per half hour class. Ask about discounted classes for siblings (Play time before or after class in the Museum is available for the discounted price of $5 paid that day to the museum-be sure to mention that you are going to Music Class when you check-in with WOW! Staff).
